Placing an Order
Just click on any item that you require, and it will be placed in your shopping cart. You can review the items you have placed in your cart at any time by clicking View Cart. When you have finished shopping, click on Checkout to see the final total of your order. At this point you may pay by card for which you will be transferred to Paypal’s secure checkout server. You do not need a Paypal account to do this.
Alternatively, you may pay by cheque which should be made payable to ‘The Beadster’ and sent to: The Beadster, Sun and Moon Cottage, 1 Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, Dorset SP7 8JW.
Orders paid for by cheque will take a little longer to process while we wait for the cheque to clear.
All prices quoted include VAT.
Confirmation of Order
We will confirm receipt of your order by email.
Delivery (to mainland UK)
Post and packing for goods is from £1.75; post and packing for goods over £25 is free. We aim to despatch your goods within 48 hours of the time that we confirm receipt of your order. If we are aware that there may be a delay in our target despatch time we will let you know. Please allow 14 working days for standard delivery.
Please contact us for postal charges outside mainland UK and for the rest of the world.
Availability
We strive to ensure the availability of stock as advertised on our website, but occasionally this may not be possible. In the event that we are out of stock of an item we will let you know as soon as possible, and offer a refund or suggest an alternative.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to us, and as such, the information you give us will only be used in connection with the orders you place with us. From time to time we may send you information that we feel would be useful to you, but you may unsubscribe from this service at any time.
We will never disclose, share or sell your information.
Returns and Cancellation
We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase, however in the event that you are not, orders placed online may be cancelled or returned within 7 working days of placement or receipt less any costs incurred in their postage or return.
Please note that we are unable to accept returns of cut items (chain, cord etc) unless faulty.
If you wish to cancel an order or return goods, please let us know by sending an email to: info@thebeadster.co.uk quoting your order reference number.

Lessons
Full payment for your lesson must be made at least 48 hours prior to the lesson to secure your place. Until payment is made, any booking is provisional and the lesson may be subject to cancellation.
We reserve the right to cancel lessons at any time, any monies paid will be refunded or an alternative date offered.
You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the lesson and receive a full refund.
No refund can be made if you are unable to attend on the day of the lesson, except in the case of illness which has been notified to us prior to the start of the lesson.
Silver and Gold
Unless expressly stated, for example “Sterling Silver”, all products labelled ‘Silver’ or ‘Gold’ in the title or description are to be read as ‘Silver’ or ‘Gold’ Coloured. Products labelled “Sterling Silver” in the title or description are 925 sterling silver (that is, they contain at least 92.5% silver) . They do not require hallmarks due to their small size.
Disclaimer
We do our best to describe our products as accurately as possible, however due to the nature of handmade and semi-precious beads there may be some variations in sizing and colour.
The Beadster reserves the right to amend prices and charges without notice.
